About Tarot

A tarot deck bears similarity to a modern day playing deck of cards, as both contain a series of four different suits - each comprised of cards numbered Ace-10, plus some face cards.  While contemporary playing cards are the descendant of ancient tarot decks, the playing cards of today number 52 in a deck, while a tarot deck consists of 78.  Twenty-two of the extra cards depict various universal archetypes such as the lovers, the hermit, and death.

The themes of tarot cards are timeless, and have captivated the imaginations of people for at least the last 700 years, as they manage to be simultaneously accessible and arcane.

Offering heartfelt intuitive readings, and over a decade of experience, I interweave ethereal wisdom represented by familiar symbols and imagery with practical life application.  My worldview is that all individuals co-create existence in every moment. Our thoughts, words, and actions have a ripple effect outreaching beyond our own understanding of their impact.  The tarot cards reflect to each person what their current emotional and material process involves, what types of energetic patterns are present, the unspoken truths.

In the swirling frenzy of life, where it can often seem as though we have control over so little, we do have agency when it comes to how we spend our time, our thoughts, and our efforts.

One way to catalyze positive change in our lives is to become aware of opportunities to empower ourselves.  Another way is to let go of that which we have no control.  The cards can help to clarify how these and other themes may be manifesting personally for you.

Drawing from my own personal experience, I appreciate how tarot readings can offer insight into ways to live a more intentional and fulfilling life.  The cards can provide validation; they can lend credence to your quiet intuitions and unconscious longings, as well as provide revelations regarding aspects of your psyche hiding in plain sight.

When I pull cards about the future, I view those cards as a reflection of the individual in that moment’s belief about the future.  Future cards are not necessarily a reflection of what is destined to occur no matter how the person responds. After all, we co-create existence in every moment.

If you don’t like what the future holds, according to the cards, intervene, wield your power, and make the necessary changes in order to strive toward your desired vision of the future.  I am here to encourage you, to empower you, and marvel alongside you at the unfolding of mysterious forces.
